Come and get it...

...cause we are gonna be gone from The Corner for two weeks. We have a good friends wedding that we are catering next Saturday and the Saturday after that Pam & I are going to NYC. I'm gonna be in a cooking competition on The Food Network. When it airs we are planning a viewing party, so stay tuned for more info on that. Chicken Fried...Chicken?

What a week last week. The 40th Anniversary picnic went so smooth, well except Greg's car breaking down on the way. That aside, over 400 people came out and we fed'm all. It was crazy and fun.
Back to it this weekend, we're putting on a few new things, Country Fried Chicken with Smoked Black Pepper Gravy, BBQ Bacon wrapped Water Chestnuts and a Broccoli Salad.
For dessert we will have a Stawberry Pudding and a Monster CatHead's Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich.
I am most excited about the Country Fried Chicken. It's like a cross between schnitzel and fried chicken. Mmmmm!!
Come on down and get some.
